CEO at TIMVERO

Dmitriy Wolkenstein is the CEO of TIMVERO, leading the team building timveroOS and timveroAI. He writes about why the next generation of lending will be won at the infrastructure layer — and what it takes to get there.

Dmitriy Wolkenstein is the co-founder and CEO of TIMVERO, the company behind timveroOS — a composable, cloud-native lending operating system — and timveroAI, an agentic AI layer that lets lenders configure and ship lending workflows in minutes rather than months.

Dmitriy has spent over a decade at the intersection of banking and software. He started his career as a Business Strategy Analyst at Banks, where he saw firsthand how rigid core systems and pre-assembled lending applications hold credit businesses back. That experience shaped the conviction he has built TIMVERO around: the next generation of lending will not be won by another monolithic SaaS box, but at the infrastructure layer — by platforms composed of primitives that banks, credit unions, and fintechs can shape to their own products, workflows, and pricing logic.

Since co-founding TIMVERO in 2018, Dmitriy has led the company through the build-out of timveroOS into a platform that supports 16+ lending verticals across consumer, SME, secured, and embedded lending, and is now used by lenders across Europe, the UK, North America, and emerging markets. Under his leadership, TIMVERO launched timveroAI — a multi-agent system with an orchestrator, implementation, and QA sub-agents that autonomously configure features on the Building Platform, with internal and client benchmarks showing roughly 10× faster delivery on configuration-heavy work.

Dmitriy writes and speaks regularly on lending infrastructure, AI in credit decisioning, fraud prevention, open banking, and the operating model shifts banks need to compete with digital-native lenders. His work has appeared on Finextra and across industry podcasts, and he is a frequent voice on the trade-offs between SaaS lending platforms and composable building platforms.
