1. About This Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how TIMVERO Ltd ("TIMVERO", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on timvero.com (the "Website"). It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we process the personal data collected through these technologies.
This policy applies to cookies set on your device when you visit the Website. It does not cover cookies inside the timveroOS lending platform, which is governed by separate Data Processing Agreements with our clients.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, measure site usage, or deliver personalised content. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, or provide analytics and advertising functionality. We also use closely related technologies — pixels, local storage, and tracking tags — for the same purposes; this policy refers to all of them collectively as "cookies".
3. How We Use Cookies
We classify the cookies on our Website into four categories:
- Strictly Necessary — required for the Website to function correctly, including security and consent-management cookies. These are always active and cannot be turned off through our consent banner.
- Analytics — help us understand how visitors interact with the Website so we can improve content and performance. Active only with your consent.
- Advertising — used by Google Ads and LinkedIn to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and serve relevant content. Active only with your consent.
- Functional — remember preferences such as language or region. Currently we do not set functional cookies; this category is reserved for future use.
On your first visit, our consent banner asks you which categories to allow. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link in our footer.

5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
5.1 Through Our Consent Banner
The easiest way to control your cookie preferences is through our consent banner:
- On your first visit, the banner asks you to Accept all, Reject all, or Customize your choice by category.
- To change your decision later, click the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of any page. The banner will reopen and your previous selection will be pre-filled.
- Your choice is recorded in the
__hs_cookie_cat_prefcookie and remembered for 6 months. After that, the banner will reappear so you can confirm or change your decision.
5.2 Through Your Browser
Most browsers also let you control cookies through their own settings — including blocking, deleting, or warning before cookies are set. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Website from working correctly. Browser-level guidance:
- Google Chrome: Manage cookies in Chrome
- Apple Safari: Manage cookies in Safari
- Mozilla Firefox: Manage cookies in Firefox
- Microsoft Edge: Manage cookies in Edge
5.3 Opt-Out Tools for Specific Vendors
Some advertising vendors provide their own opt-out mechanisms:
- Google Analytics opt-out: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Google Ads personalisation: adssettings.google.com
- LinkedIn member-controls: linkedin.com/psettings/advertising
6. Google Consent Mode v2
We use Google Consent Mode v2 to coordinate your cookie preferences with Google's analytics and advertising tools. When you decline analytics or advertising cookies, Google's tools either run in a limited mode (sending only aggregated, non-identifying signals) or stop collecting data altogether, depending on the tool. This implementation follows the framework that Google publishes for compliance with EU/UK GDPR and ePrivacy requirements.
7. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Reviewed" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, surface a notice on the Website. We encourage you to review this policy regularly.
